| ACADEMIC PROGRAMMES |
The UPEACE Institute is open to practitioners, students and academics interested in the fields of environment, peace, conflict, entrepreneurship, terrorism, development, film, violence, democracy, drama and conflict transformation, sports and peace, media, insurgency, human rights, fundraising, and food security. A college degree and other UPEACE admission requirements are needed for those students that wish to obtain credits for their own programmes. For training purposes no college degree is required. Course Modalities In addition to the standard 3 credit courses that run over 3 weeks, this year we offer 2 credit that run over 2 weeks and, several 1 credit courses that run over 1 week each. The 2 and 1 credit courses will run in the afternoons from 1-4 pm. UPEACE students required to complete 3 credits during the UPEACE Institute may choose to attend a regular 3 credit course in the morning from 9-12, attend a 2 credit course over two weeks and 1 credit course over one week or 3 different 1 credit courses over 3 weeks from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm to make up the required number of credits For more information please contact the Department of Academic Administration at institute@upeace.org.
