Requirements to Enroll and Tuition Fees

Requirements:

For graduate credit:

  1. The applicant must submit scanned or fax copy of his/her Bachelor's degree or higher.

  2. English Language Proficiency Test Report is required for all applicants from non-English-speaking countries. The following English Proficiency Tests are accepted:
    TEST MINIMUM SCORE
    ELTS Band of 7
    Paper based TOEFL (PBT) 550
    Computer based TOEFL (CBT) 200
    Internet Based TOEFL (IBT) 90
    TOEIC 750
    To waive the English Language Proficiency Test Report, applicants from non-English speaking countries may present the following documents:
    1. Certified true copy of Undergraduate Degree from an English Speaking Country or English Speaking University. This degree must have been issued within the last two years.
    2. Letter from a higher education institution certifying enrollment or completion of a programme by the applicant, and stating that the medium of instruction was English.

  3. Curriculum Vitae or Résumé: applicants need to send their CV or Résumé by e-mail

For Training purposes or other:

A 25% tuition fees discount is offerred to UN personnel to apply for this, you must present scanned copy of your Employee badge


Important dates:

  • Enrollment for the courses will start by February 20 2009
  • Deadline for receiving applications: May 22 2009
  • Deadline for payment: May 30 2009
  • Courses will run from 8th to 15th June 2009

  1. Wire transfer:

    Swift code: BNCRCRSJ

    There may be additional charges applied by Banco Nacional and/or other intermediary banks related to wire transfers. UPEACE needs to receive the total amount due. Any other charges must be covered by the student.

    If the payment is wire transferred, the student must send confirmation of payment to the Department of Academic Administration, by fax: (506) 249-1324 or e-mail: payments@upeace.org with the following information:

    1. Name of the student
    2. Programme: UPEACE Institute
    3. Date of wire transfer
    4. Transferred amount
    5. Name of the Bank where transfer originated (include main branch and intermediary bank)
    6. Name of the person wiring the money (if a third person will be doing it on behalf of the student)

  2. Credit card

    You are able to access the online payment system for credit cards through the following link: https://payments.upeace.org/upeaceinstitute/

    Any fees related to credit card payments will be reflected in the payment receipt as a balance to be paid by the student.

  3. Certified checks: must be sent by DHL, Fedex or similar services.

    Important: Checks must not be sent by regular mail for security reasons.

    Personal Checks, Money Orders or Travelers Checks are not accepted.
