Other Services

Transportation
UPEACE provides transportation from Ciudad Colón to UPEACE and back at different times during the day, for students. There is no charge, as transportation fees have been paid in advance by all students.

Transportation schedule will be provided during orientation activities.

Documentation
The on-campus outsourced service, Copias Activas, offers professional documentation services and is available to students Monday through Friday; please consult Copias Activas for business hours and rates.

Prints
UPEACE photocopy operator offers student photocopy service, black and white printing, fax and office supplies. Pre-payment system is available.

Cafeteria
The campus cafeteria is open during working hours, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Mail Service
Each student has a mail box at the Department of Academic Administration. UPEACE highly recommends students to provide the UPEACE mailing address for personal mail, or shipping of personal items. Students should always use certified mail to avoid any problems.

University Doctor
UPEACE offers general medical services from Monday through Friday, from 8:00 to 12:00 hours (a male Doctor) and from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm (a female Doctor). This service is also available for emergencies 24 hours a day.

The Doctor provides students basic medical check ups and treatments. They may recommend specialized services from other medical institutions or specialist if necessary.

Students must provide proof that they have international medical insurance that will cover them in case of an emergency.

All students will receive National Health Insurance. This Insurance will not cover pre-existiing diseases.
