Tree planting at La Sabana

Location: La Sabana Metropolitan Park, San José, Costa Rica.
UPEACE students and staff participated in the reforestation of La Sabana, the biggest metropolitan park in San Jose, which is currently undergoing a reforestation project.
One hundred of the trees that were planted came from the nursery managed by the National Electric Company (CNFL) at UPEACE campus.
The CNFL facilitated their electric bus to take students to the activity.
Volunteer work was done also by athletes from the Costar Rican Soccer Federation, the Costa Rican Track and Field Federation, and staff of Scotiabank.
