An intensive working agenda developed by Chancellor Cheng-  Hopkins and Council Member del Castillo took place at the UPEACE campus. Deans and heads of department analyzed and evaluate the academic programme of the University.

Its purpose was to promote a comprehensive reform, which aims to allow the University to achieve its mission: “to provide humanity with an international institution of higher education for peace and with the aim of promoting among all human beings the spirit of understanding, tolerance and peaceful coexistence, to stimulate cooperation among peoples and to help lessen obstacles and threats to world peace and progress, in keeping with the noble aspirations proclaimed in the Charter of the United Nations.”

The visit also allowed Chancellor Cheng-Hopkins and Council member del Castillo to meet with several staff members, in order to learn directly about the work of the University at the present stage.

The Council of UPEACE is in the process of dialogue which will help the University reach its great potential in the shortest time possible.
