UPEACE Environmental Club

Join the Environmental Club and join one of the most active student organizations on campus!

Become engaged in the Club’s mission of “To implement initiatives that enrich appreciation for the environment, that demonstrate the link between environmental and social issues, and that enhance environmental sustainability within the UPEACE Community and beyond.” See the Club’s Bylaws.

The Club was founded in October 2005, has grown to a Membership of nearly 30 persons, and raised a modest budget. It has succeeded in setting up a composting and recycling system; ridding the campus of Styrofoam cups and plates; greening the UPEACE Model United Nations Conference; showing environmental films and holding discussions; and celebrating Earth Day. See the Club’s History.
