  • Culture of Peace: Good Governance in the Democratic Republic of the Congo

17 April 2015. University for Peace Campus - The University for  Peace is pleased to announce the arrival of a book written by Phillippe Tunamsifu Shirambere, UPEACE MA. of Arts in International Law and the Settlement of Disputes (2011), published by Lambert Academic Publishing: "Culture of Peace: Good Governance in the Democratic Republic of the Congo"

“This curriculum guide is a valuable contribution to the growing attempts at indigenizing curricula at all levels of schooling in Africa” said Dr. Virginia Floresca Cawagas; Professor, Coordinator MA Peace Education. Head Dept. of Peace and Conflict.

Dr. Cawagas recalls, “This project was undertaken during Philippe’s one year graduate studies at the UN mandated University for Peace, where he was ably advised and supported by internationally respected professors coordinating the MA Programmes in International Law and Human Rights, Peace Education, and International Peace Studies.”
