6 November, 2014. University for Peace Campus - Organizations attending included regional Offices, IOM, OIT, ACNUR and UNESCO, as well as a nonprofit organizations, such as the Humanitarian Foundation, Fundación Acción Joven, Pacuare Natural Reserve and Racho Mono Vista.
“I love the UPEACE Internship Fair, because the students are always quite interested in our work. Our organic farm provides a hands on opportunity to practice sustainable food growing”, said Robert Roman from Rancho Mono Vista Learning City.
“UNESCO has a long-standing working relationships with UPAZ, interns have been instrumental in ensuring the success of the World Press Freedom celebrations in 2013. They can contribute a lot to our programmes” Dana Ziyasheva, UNESCO, Costa Rica.
Two organizations founders are also current UPEACE graduate students, “Freedom in Creation” a nonprofit organization that works with community development in Africa, and “Boy with a Ball”, based in Costa Rica.

UPEACE students had opportunities to network and learn more about organizational initiatives and projects related to their academic studies. The internship is offered free of charge to students and organizational representatives on UPEACE Campus every year.
