In April 2017, the University for Peace (UPEACE) and the United World College Costa Rica (UWCCR) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the aim of contributing to the more effective attainment of their common objectives. Through this MoU, UWCCR Alumni will receive a tuition waiver towards their UPEACE postgraduate degree. Furthermore, UPEACE students will be able to carry out their internships, which make up an integral part of their academic experience, on the UWCCR campus, thus allowing them to apply the knowledge they have acquired at UPEACE within a practical setting.
