UPEACE Certificate Programmes are designed for candidates who would like to take part in the UPEACE campus life and learning environment, but are unable to do so for an entire year. These may be working professionals or undergraduate students in the field of Peace and Conflict Studies in their final year of study, who are interested in a study abroad opportunity. These certificates are designed to deepen participants’ knowledge in the topic of their choice. They are deliberately flexible, allowing for a hybrid option that incorporates both on-campus and online learning modalities.
Certificates incorporate eleven or twelve credits’ worth of courses, depending on the modality that best suits each participant (number of on-campus vs. online credits). Diplomas are earned by completing all certificate requirements, in addition to an independent research project.
We currently offer the following Certificate Programmes (click on each individual image for the programme prospectus).
Due to the Covid-19 emergency, our certificate programmes will run under a virtual modality for the 2020-2021 academic year, combining both live-streamed and pre-recorded online sessions.
